have you guys heard of the salmon brothers?

i just read an interesting book about them. apparently, they were involved in alot of fishy deals. they managed to reel in a bunch of investors who fell for them hook, line, and sinker. at the end of the day they got caught and gutted the firm and laid off a bunch of people who were like fish out of water. the big fish at the top were laughing to themselves the whole time because it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

Your fish jokes would have been slightly funnier if that was the way the company was spelled.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

Salmon Brothers was a symbol of a bygone era, kind of like Lemon Brothers whom they combo'd with frequently. Too bad the failure of Lemon Bros left such a sour taste in everyone mouth. Life handed Obama and Bernanke Lemon Brothers, but they just couldn't make lemonade out of the situation.

nice, i think i'm going to incorporate this into my joke.

arguewithatreeLOL can't decide whats funnier - the joke or the fact that no one got the pun.
Huh? I think people got the joke. His lack of alliteration and incessant use of "fish" towards the end killed whatever potential the troll post had.
My name is Nicky, but you can call me Dre.
