HELP NEEDED Sent Wrong NDA
Started on the desk about three months ago and things have been going well so far. I’ve received positive feedback and haven’t had any major fuck ups.
About a week ago, I was mass-sending NDAs for a live process and accidentally sent NDA A to Investor B. I realized the mistake immediately, hit recall, and told the analyst sitting next to me what happened. He said the recall should be fine and to just resend the correct NDA, which I did right away.
A few days later, I was reviewing my email activity and saw that the recall only succeeded internally (i.e., within the firm) and not for the external recipient.
What’s the right move here?
Should I flag this internally now, or let it go since the correct NDA was sent immediately and things moved on since then.
And how bad is this in the grand scheme of things? Appreciate any advice
The fuck up was more related to not talking to your associate / vp about it immediately. Recalls almost never work externally as well for future reference.
For reference there is no associate or VP working with me on this. So would have had to flag to MD directly. How would you approach it now?
If this is Rd1 it honestly doesn’t even matter
It is and the party is not proceeding anyways.
