Helping out my boss from last internship, any problems?
This is slightly odd, but I am still in contact with and friends with my boss from my search fund (private equity) internship last semester. He has been struggling to find investors and an investment bank to close the deal and a couple of investment firms that I interviewed with target the same types of companies my boss looks at. The firm I'm interning at next summer is also in the same space (i-bank). Would there be any issues (legal, etiquette, etc.) with me referring my boss to these firms?
