High level pole for end of year bonus comp 2023.

This pole is going to be Analyst to VP as anything above that doesn't use WSO that much and also comp is very scattered for those titles based on firm and a million other things.

If you think poll ranges are bad just leave a comment and I'll update but I think I covered the majority pretty well.

Ah, the end-of-year bonus comp poll for 2023, a hot topic indeed! Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's how I'd break it down for Analyst to VP levels:

  • Analyst (1st Year to 3rd Year): The range for analysts can vary widely depending on the bank and the market conditions. However, a general range could be from $70k to $150k, with the lower end representing smaller or less profitable firms and the higher end for top-performing analysts at the most lucrative banks.

  • Associate (1st Year to 3rd Year): Associates can expect a range that's a bit higher, given their additional experience and responsibilities. A reasonable range might be from $100k to $250k.

  • Vice President: VPs have a significant jump in potential compensation due to their seniority and closer ties to revenue generation. Their range could be from $200k to $500k or more, with the variability depending on individual performance, deal flow, and the overall success of their group.

Remember, these are just ballpark figures based on previous WSO threads and the current state of the industry as discussed in the forums. If you've got different numbers or insights, don't hesitate to share. After all, the more data we have, the better the poll will reflect reality. Keep the comments coming, and I'll be sure to adjust the ranges if there's a consensus that they're off the mark.
