High schooler aiming for IB
I'm currently a junior in highschool and trying to break into investment banking. I am not sure what the next step to take is. For context, I'm applying to several business summer program from Berkeley, UPenn, UMich, BofA, USC, and especially Mccombs because that's the main target school I am going for. My main extracurricular plans are qualifying for nationals in powerlifting and BPA. My gpa is a 4.1 weighted with 12 total APs I plan to take and hopefully a 1500+ SAT, but my class rank is bad due to being a competitive school. I am not sure what else I can do to try and get into Mccombs as a non auto admit. I would really appreciate some advice.
Ah yes, I also happen to be apply to BofA's BS in Business program.
My bad for not clarifying, but I feel like it would be obvious I was referring to the Bank of America student leaders program.
Why would it be obvious if it was listed with a bunch of schools?
I never specified it was just schools and I just said summer programs. Nevertheless, I should’ve been more clear.
"junior in high school" are we serious...
best advice would be to get into the best school possible (many threads on target schools), speak with a couple of students prior to attending to understand club culture and connect you with a couple of people, start networking and cold emailing fresh/soph year and you should be set up well
We are in the end times. Can't wait for a couple of years for people in middle school to start posting.
Apply to the schools you like on peak framework’s target list. Then come back here end of your freshman year of college
