HireRight

Starting Full time next month, hireright is asking for diploma although I didn’t have my graduation yet (end of month) and they are saying I just show up as enrolled. I emailed HireRight and they said they need diploma to complete background check, any ideas/solutions?

Just tell them you don’t have it yet, worst case scenario they’ll raise a flag on it but your firm isn’t stupid and will quickly realize that flag is because you haven’t graduated yet. Not a problem at all, if so inspired, drop an email to your HR contact in charge of compliance and just flag it for them.

Tell them you'll have diploma by X date, send any screenshots you have confirming you're graduating, maybe get an email from your advisor confirming you've completed all credits and will graduate with your school's graduation which is May Xth

I'd also CC your HR contact and just say "+Name for awareness as I won't have my diploma for a few more weeks". Nothing will come of it but just so they're on same page.

Realistically this is common but Hireright is really stupid
