Would you guys consider HL CF/FAS/RX roles to be IB?
I know within CF they do M&A and Cap Markets, FAS does fairness opinions, valuation and transaction services, and RX does bankruptcy, distressed situations

FAS is not IB. From what I understand, they do purely valuation modeling on esoteric holdings/securities. Even when you interview for FAS, they make it explicitly clear that you are not interviewing for an investment banking position.
CF and RX, though, are your more traditional banking roles. However, RX is by far their strongest group and they regularly compete with other top RX shops in securing deals.
