Im a freshman at a semi-target school and might have the chance to work in the tech+ip advisory group at Houlihan Lokey In SF and couldn't find much info online. Would this be a good internship if my ultimate goal is to get into restructuring or tech m&a in the future or should I try to find something more related to a traditional investment banking group? Also any thoughts on this group if anyone knows?

It's under FAS so I would imagine you would be exposed to some valuation and would give you a strong name on your resume. For a freshman, it's an excellent internship. Next year for sophomore recruitment, you will be a couple steps ahead of the competition and should have a good chance of getting into good SA programs. I'm not too sure about restructuring recruitment for sophomores however, but I think with a good sophomore internship under your belt you will have no problem.
