How can I improve my business writing skills?

Hi guys, I wanted to ask how I could improve my writing skills that will be used as an IB analyst?

I will start in July and I will be honest here: my writing skills are not very good.. I have considered taking classes and have looked into some writing lessons offered at NYU but they are all really pricey, any tips on how I could improve my business writing skills in a less expensive and practical way?

Thanks guys!

hopinggtsgy, the amount of writing that you will do as an analyst will be very limited and mostly involve making edits given to you by an associate or senior banker. That being said, I have found the easiest and least expensive way to improve one's writing (as well as speaking) abilities is by reading more. There are many threads on WSO for book recommendations, but a good place to start would be this list of books meant to improve one's GMAT verbal score.
