How can investment banking improve?
Seems like the big things today are work-life balance for junior folks. But are there any other things that can make this a better industry?

Why not?
Higher pay for junior / mid-level bankers and more transparency to prospective analysts / SA's and post MBA associates before they join re the personal sacrifice and time commitment required. There are some additional steps to actually improve things as well that are in process with a number of banks, such as protected weekend time and mandatory vacations should be quite positive if they stick and are enforced.
