How do companies decide whether to report EBITDA and non-GAAP numbers?
Why do some companies report EBITDA, Adj. EBITDA, non-GAAP income etc. and others (like AAPL) don't? Is it always that the companies that report non-GAAP items are doing poorly compared to co's that don't, or are there any other strategic considerations?
