How do people in the industry think of interns with 'incoming' in their linkedin headline

I want to start reaching out to people from my bank for my virtual internship and going to start doing it on linkedin. I have my headline as 'incoming ib sa at bank' but don't know how people in the industry think about that. I want to show i work at their bank but dont want to seem like a fuck. Thoughts?

nobody cares, but I hope she sees it and texts you back bro

I'm not an intern, but I still have to ask... what is wrong with putting "incoming ib sa" on one's Linkedin? That's what you are... so what could be objectionable about this?

It's not that hard to wait until you start to add the role to your profile. Putting it on your headline doesn't help you reach out in any way - you can just include it in your messaging.

Putting incoming in your headline isn't the worst, there's adding the role to your profile proper as "incoming ...", and then the worst is posting some grandstanding bs thanking everyone under the sun for their support that helped you get X internship, with a big picture of company Y underneath.

From the perspective of someone inside the industry, it's always seemed silly. Like a 12 year old wanting to turn 13 to watch pg-13 movies. Like, we get it: you're excited to take the next step. But, maybe you should chill because most of us wish we could be in college like you.

Also, seems like a lazy, cheap advertising ploy by HR.

The downside to adding it is convincing people (a small subset of jaded juniors) you aren't a goober upon first impression. The upside is you get to flex for a year.
