I’ve seen a bunch of people in recent years leave like 1-2 months before the 2 year mark for PE and it’s just a bit confusing - do they completely forfeit the total year 2 bonus? Do PE firms pay you an early start bonus?
I get it’s hard to stick it out for another month or 2 but it’s a lot of money for most people to miss out on. Just super curious here.
