How do you know if your bank/ group is a sweatshop?

1) what are your hours like on good, average and bad weeks? 2) how often do you get bad weeks? 3) how does your team react after you work a late night? (I.e. apologize and or take things off your plate or act as if it didn’t happen etc

I would be preparing to lateral if I were you. I just did. Let me know if you need help with the process. You are a first year, your ods are so good

It’s a very simple test to know if you work at a sweat shop:

has there been 3 consecutive months where you value sleep over sex/ don’t have the energy to play 5 on one?

If the above is true you are in a sweatshop. Even great places you can have bad months and you can have kind co-workers and managers, but still be in a sweatshop, due to getting over worked.
