How helpful will a BB sophomore IB internship be for recruiting?
Hi, I am a rising sophomore and will be recruiting for SA 2022 but I had a query regarding that. I know a BB IB sophomore internship is very difficult to get and usually makes recruiting for Junior internships easy, but I was wondering how much will it be helpful if I get a sophomore BB (GS/JPM/MS) IB internship but not in the US. I will be recruiting for US SA 2022 though. So, just wondering if it would still be helpful.

I am billingual but not in a language that has any importance in the states. I am crazy to think that they'll prefer a guy with a boutique internship in US over a guy with a BB IB internship outside of US right?

Bump - If anyone who works at a bank can chime in. Would you discount the value of the BB internship if it is from outside the US?
