How important are fall/spring boutique/search fund internships?
I’m a rising sophomore at an overall semi target and a west coast super target (USC/UCLA). I’m only interested in recruiting for the west coast, and there’s obviously a lot of alumnus available. I’m in the investment banking club on campus, have one boutique internship on my resume from last year, and just finished a corp dev internship this summer where I worked on a 9 figure M&A deal. How important is doing another search fund/boutique internship? Will my resume/application be looked down upon even though most of these school year internships are bullshit?
no point of doing a search fund internship if it’s worse than anything you’ve done before imo
