How is junior year recruiting as someone with BB IB soph. exp?
Questions directed towards those who had soph. BB IB internship and were recruiting for junior year SA position.

Many firms will recruit before the soph internship even takes place. How did you speak about the experience?
Did you feel, or were there any instances where less networking sufficed for junior year recruiting because of the soph. BB IB internship?
Everyone I know who did sophomore BB either stayed or went to GS/MS
Was it because they really liked their group? I am interested in recruiting for EBs.
The people who stayed told me they did because they liked the group and didn't want to go through the stress of re-recruiting.
But did they stay off recruiting for many banks that would have gone off before their internship started/ended?

Majority who intern at top and mid-tier BBs end up staying if they like their group, but it is pretty easy to recruit out if you want. Most UBS/DB kids try to leave.
