How stacked do you have to be going into SA recruiting?
Hi everyone. I’m a freshman at a small semi-target, and was curious about what kind of experience I should have going in to sophomore year recruiting. I’m going to be doing a solid PWM internship this summer, and I’m also well involved in one of our main finance clubs. However, I still can’t help but feel a bit behind with these two experiences? Is club experience and a solid freshman summer good enough for SA recruiting? I’m curious about whether an additional search fund/off-cycle internship is worth it, or if it’s better to just focus on preparation, polish, and networking. I’m not sure how relevant this is, but I don’t have any notable positions in non-finance clubs to talk about either. Thanks in advance.
You’re in a good spot. If you could get a leadership role in one of the clubs even better. Maybe pursue the off-cycle search fund during the small semester?? But you should be good
