How to network with banks at campus Networking Dinners

Next week the banking days start at our school. I am attending both a presentation and a networking dinner after with a top bank. I just wanted to see what sort of approach I should have and what questions to ask in order to get the most out of the events. For example at the presentation I can ask relevant questions about the bank and so on. But at the dinner, to my knowledge, it's best to be informal and just have a good time right? Not to go on asking them about work - am I wrong in this?

Any tips are of value and very welcomed. Thanks to all of you who take your time to share your wisdom!
