How to prepare from M&A analyst pivot from Tax? (6 weeks to prepare)

I am transitioning internally from Big4 Transfer Pricing to the Mergers & Acquisitions team. I have about 6 weeks leading up to the move and was wondering how I could best prepare for the new role?
