How to Re-Enter "High-Finance" After FA Stint

I worked 2 years as an Analyst at a LMM boutique, essentially got burned out, and exited for a financial advisory role doing planning. Now I want to re-enter to world of "high-finance" (I hate that term, but am using it because you know what I mean when it's used).

I'm not sure IB is the answer, but curious of any other paths I should explore? I have my CFP, but also wondering if getting an MBA before doing anything would be the move?

Open to any advice. Thanks!

I'm not sure how much luck you'll have with this or if its what you want, but I know a lot of the PE megafunds (I remember seeing Carlyle in particular) are looking for capital formation people focused on the PWM sector. You could probably spin your experience well for that
