How to stay in touch with bankers during interviews

Hello. I am a sophomore diversity and I have a first round to a bank next week for their diversity program, with a superday the following week if I move on.

I have networked with about 10 bankers from this bank over the past couple of months. Should I shoot them an email before my first round telling them I have a first round, and then shoot them another email before my superday telling them I advanced (if I advance), or should I just send them an email only if I get to the superday? I want to send them an email so they remember me before they make decisions.

Sounds good. In the email should I ask if they should put in a good word for me or vouch for me, or should I just say I have a first round

I think sending an email before and after can get a little excessive, assuming there are multiple rounds of interviews. I personally sent emails after each round. Definitely recommend sending it though. I got an offer predominantly because one of the people I networked with offered to help me prep for the superday when I sent him a thank you note after my first round interviews. He was able to give me inside tips about what to say/ask that was immensely helpful.

Thanks, that makes sense! Do you have any tips based on what he said that you could maybe share on what to say/ask in SD? I would appreciate that.
