How to Successfully Navigate Internal Mobility into Bigger City After Getting Offer Following Internship
I’m interning for a Bulge Bracket that guaranteed all of its interns offers upon successfully finishing the internship. I’m in a city with relatively smaller offices (think Salt Lake City, Denver, St. Louis) and I want to move up to a bigger city like NYC, Houston, Chicago, LA, or SF via internal mobility. Whats the likelihood of me successfully requesting and getting an internal mobility offer in one of those cities?
Anyone have experience as to how to properly do internal mobility successfully, and without jeopardizing your offer in the smaller group you interned at?
Do you think most interns will accept their guaranteed offers and return to the groups they interned at, making internal mobility more difficult?
Just say Goldman bro
