How to talk about an M&A deal

Have an upcoming SA and we’re doing interviews with each team to determine placements.

I want to talk about their past deals, but how do you have a conversation about it? For interviews I’d just “present” it but if I’m talking to someone who worked on the actual deal, how exactly should I steer the conversation?

Interviews for team placement is harder than getting the internship at this point. Am feeling like a dumb converted spring intern.
