I-Banking Boutique in NY vs. MM in Midwest vs. Tech for BB

Hi all,

Just wondering if I could get some advice/opinions on something:

Like most people here, I hope to end up eventually in IBD at a BB in NYC, but as a sophomore, internships are far and few between, especially in fin. services.

Question is, this summer, given the choice between interning for a pretty well known (within MM firms) MM boutique or the tech division (read: IT/programming) at a BB or at a unknown boutique in NYC, which would put me in the best position for next summer?

Thanks for your time, hope to hear what you all think!
