I have 2 offers

Hi-- I have worked 1 year at a Structured products valuation shop doing risk retention valuation.

I have an offer for Senior Consultant at Deloitte Securitization Transaction and Senior Associate at DP Complex Asset Solutions (Alternative Asset Valuation). I want to go to an IB, would be happy w Guggehiem even, in the short run after or PE. The MD at DF say some people from his team ended up going to a PE firm. Consultants from other EY Securitization Transaction have moved to IB.

I would appreciate any advice

Thanks,

The one thing I would be careful about is the focus on alternative asset valuation. While valuation is valuation, depending on your work it may pigeonhole you into special situations groups on the buy side or groups in IB that deal with illiquid assets. Of course if this is your interest, go for it. DP is an extremely well renowned valuation firm
