I need some advice regarding MsF

I'll try to keep this as short as possible. I will have a biology degree with a business minor a year from now. Unfortunately it is too late to change my major. I go to a school with a well known co-op program and i am finding to get business experience with a bio major and lack of business coursework is difficult. Now would it be better for me to get out and do a masters in finance to get finance knowledge down on paper. I know more than what it seems but it is very difficult to prove because of my lacking coursework. I would say I am very good at trading on my own but I am trying to get into banking. I have been looking into UF in which I heard is very good and many students get placed into BB. I also can get instate tuition there. What would you guys do in this situation? I will honestly pay someone off for an internship.

By the way I chose biology because I was planning to go to medical school but changed my decision after I realized for me it was not worth the money and my heart was not in it.

Thanks a lot your help is really appreciated.

I'd recommend that you go for a Msc in Finance. It allows you to re-position yourself to break into investment banking. With all the retrenchment going on Wall Street, you're going to have a tough time getting a FT offer in the near term unless you are from a target school (HYPSM). I know of a couple of people who did a Msc in Finance, and they've managed to successfully broken in S&T or IB. Try to up your GPA as much as possible, and apply for LSE Masters' programs.

Haha and if you're looking to pay someone off for an internship, you might want to check out the AnEx program. It's a course which teaches you the basics of financial modeling and sets you up with a internship with one of their partner firms.

I go to a school that has a MSF program and they spoke to our undergrad finance club, and whatever Gekko said was 100% correct, at my school atleast they have more people breaking into the research route, CFA route but a lot get placed into top Banks.

I want a lady on the street, but a freak in the bed, Go Bucks!!
