I think rankings are cool now

I think rankings like this should be a meme

GS MS EVR PJT

CVP JPM LAZ MOE

BOA BARC CITI CS PWP

It's like a haiku almost. You can copy and paste it anywhere, although you'll probably get hit with MS.

or how about a vintage ranking

GS MS BX

LEH JPM LAZ

ML CITI UBS CS

I guess some things never change

Why do we feel the need to rank everything? Is it a futile struggle to bring order to the uncertainty of recruiting? Is it to justify our sacrificing our time and happiness for the sake of money and exit ops?

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
