I want to be in IB but is it realistic?

Hello,

This is my first post, I'm looking for some career advice.

I played D1 football at a decent university, but definitely not a target school. I tried to make it in the NFL but got cut last week. So here I am now entering the job market. My school has very few alums that I have found that work in IB. I don't have any job experience other than a couple of internships with a small wealth management firm.

I graduated in 5 years with my undergrad in finance, my MBA, and my MSF. My GPA is above a 3.30 but below a 3.50.

Is it realistic for me to find a job in IB?

Sorry to hear about the NFL. It's a very hard road to break into. Here's the question... FBS or FCS? Power 5 or Group of 5?

I think that those two questions will really drive your ability to network into a position. D1 football with an MBA and MSF is a great story. There have been tons of posts about NCAA athletes trying to break into finance. If you're interested, I'll gladly offer up any advice I can. Shoot me a PM if you don't want to get into specifics in front of everyone.
