I want to resend my resume, how do I go about doing that?

I changed my resume around, the problem is, that the top firms got my crappy resume(didn't have ECs, didn't list my major gpa thats much higher, didn't list my leadership experience, didn't list my relevant course work)....I want to send them the current resume, should I make a note saying I'm resending a new resume, or not mention anything and hope they look at it as if I'm a new applicant?

And yes I know 99% of the chance is that they won't even look at the online resume submissions, but it would suck to be in the 1%, and get rejected, if I could have gotten an interview otherwise.

i know, but back then I didn't really know what the IBs wanted on the resume...its not that the resume is bad...its just that I added a lot of extra stuff.

Agreed. It was a big mistake not including an EC's, accomplishments, etc. In essence you are saying your resume consists of work experience and your school/gpa? As an undergrad with little to no work experience, your resume must have had a lot of whitespace.

The smart thing to do would have been to check with career services for resume advice or at least ask a friend. But without dwelling on the past, you really don't have an option. You mentioned you're from a non-target and applying online. With what little information recruiters may have from you, you'll be going up against kids that do have their relevant internships and EC's listed. My advice is you not draw unnecessary attention to your mistake and roll the dice. Reapply.

yeah thats what I was thinking. And thats exactly why I changed my resume because I was at an IB workshop and they gave us a resume template to use, and it looks 10 times more professional.

The way I see it, I'm 100% screwed if I don't reapply, and if I do reapply there is a small chance that someone will look at the resume
