IB in the Nordics (Sweden)
Does anyone have insight into whether banks in the Nordics sponsor work visas?
I’m mainly thinking of BBs like MS, BofA, and Citi, EBs like Lazard and Rothschild, as well as Nordic banks such as SEB, DNB Carnegie, Nordea, etc.
For context, I’m fluent in Swedish and have no problem finding finance internships in Stockholm. I’m just wondering how visa sponsorship works for full-time positions. Most people I’ve met in Nordic banking seem to be Swedish or from other Nordic countries, so they obviously don’t need sponsorship.
Would be great to hear from anyone who has experience with this. Thanks!

I have no experience myself but know that those banks already get a lot of applications from eligible Nordic students, and the competition is fierce even for them, so I'd say not having the right to work there materially lowers your chances. Doesn't hurt to try though!
