Curious about the green card policy for H1B holders at different BB/EB, PE, AM, VC.
What's BB/EB's green card policy in terms of level and tenure? For starters, I know BofA typically would only start PERM when H1B is about to end, ie. 4 years in. European banks are more lenient, usually Asso level + 6 months tenure can qualify.
I heard PE have a stricter policy, only sponsoring VP+, is this true?

At MF, on H1B. We generally sponsor green card at Principal and above but there have been instances where more senior associates are sponsored if they are being groomed for the Principal level.
