IB Term?
Hey I'm new here but I've been reading posts on WSO for some time now. I've seen this word "preftigious" and "preftige" being tossed around and I was wondering what the term meant in relation to I-banking. Does it relate at all?

I can't wait to hear swagon's opinion on this
It certainly applies, Hombre. "Prestige" is a term often used by bankers.
It basically applies to dudes who subconsciously or consciously seek approval from others and are deluded into thinking hot girls care...Some snap out of this evil spell, usually by way of a rejection / chance encounter with a cute girl who doesn't care about money, others by realizing their true natural talent, whether it be music, writing, filmmaking, porn acting, sports, entrepreneurship etc provides enough income to keep up an acceptable lifestyle / set of hobbies etc
I see quite a few threads on here asking for the most prestigious schools, preftigious this, prestigious that. Is that really what the culture's like in the real workplace or is it just WSO?
