Hello all,
I’ve recently inherited a large sum of money in my mid twenties. Unfortunately, the money is stuck in a shitty mutual / hedge fund that charges 1.75% mgmt. fees and has underperformed the S&P 500 for more than a decade. I would like to move this money into low cost vanguard ETFs. How can I redeem my capital from this investment without paying an overly burdensome tax load? Should I hire a CPA?
