International student from US target to UK IB

Hi, I am an international student studying at a target school in the U.S. (one of Columbia/Penn/Cornell)

I'm interested in banking in the UK.

I reached out to some alumni in London. A few of them replied, but they all transferred from the U.S.

All of them are Europeans. (they said they never used their mother tongues at work though)

I'm from East Asia, so I do speak only English among European languages.

My questions are:

1. Is it going to be a serious issue that I can only speak English?

2. How do Banks in the UK consider my school?

3. I heard networking in the UK is much less important than in the US.

Do bankers read resumes and decide to give interviews? (if so, what factors decide to choose without networking?) or Does the HR team do this?

4. My major is econ and my current GPA is 3.7/4.0 and I have three internships (a big 4 corp finance/ a small investment firm/ a regional investment bank IBD - all of them in my country). And I am a sophomore now. Is there a chance of getting an interview?

I would appreciate it if you guys give me some information!
