internship for sale

Have you guys heard of people buying internships? Some Connecticut parents spent over $800,000 for 8 spots at Morgan Stanley that was donated by a company executive without approval. Here is the link. I would never tell any of my co-workers how I got the internship at Morgan Stanley.

"Morgan Stanley says an internship auctioned by the Brunswick School in Greenwich, Conn., was donated by an executive without company approval. The company says it first started hearing requests for donated internships over the last year. It says the donated internship falls outside its formal program, which is merit-based and primarily for college and graduate students. The experience involved one week trailing the global head of the financial-analyst program. "

This shit is completely different from what everyone here is applying for.
