Interview Help - Quantitative nature of the analyst position
I spoke with a MD yesterday who was giving me advice on the recruitment process. He told me that during the interview they are looking for 2 things. 1. That you can handle the quantitative nature of the analyst position and 2. That you really want the job and are going to excel in the position. My question is how do you convey to the interviewer that you are quantitative? I have always been very good at math but I'm not sure how to convey that in an interview.
Remember key figures for things you talk about. If they ask you about a recent deal, remember things like stock prices, offering, premiums, etc. and of course if you get them smoke your brainteasers.
