Intrepid Investment Bankers

Thoughts on Intrepid after the recent news? The firm has aggressively hired seniors to bolster deal flow, but they only have 13 analysts supporting execution (team of over 120). So from a “reps” standpoint, would you argue this is beneficial for A1s in terms of exit opportunities (obviously excluding the tragic news). Apparently their mandates range from 50mm-500mm, with an average process at 200mm EV and compete with Houlihan, Lincoln, etc. Where would you rank these guys on the LA banking scene?
