Investment banking comp
How much do junior investment bankers really make after taxes in NY? I’m looking at some calculations and it seems that the total comp post tax in most states brings down their income by 30%+. Can you rationalize the crazy life bankers have with their real, end of the day compensation?
Investment banking isn't a get rich quick scheme. While the junior pay is at least advertised to be good, the greater benefits come from the doors that investment banking opens later down the road.
Hate to break it to you - but investment bankers arent the only ones who pay income tax.
