Investment Banking in Chicago
I was wondering what the banking scene looks like now in Chicago (the most recent posts are a few years ago)?
For BB's in Chicago - what groups/companies are strong and do a lot of deal execution? For EB's in Chicago - are these offices just for pitching? do they recruit analysts heavily? do they cut recruiting heavily during rough times like these?
For MM - what are the best shops? - I have heard that William Blair, Baird, and HL are strong; are there any others?
How have current times (COVID-19) affected recruiting in Chicago for incoming analysts?
Bump
Lincoln International has a strong presence in Chicago as well for MM.
A lot of activity at HL - specifically health care.
Brown gibbons lang
For MM, BMO and Harris Williams also have a strong presence in Chicago
Harris Williams does not have an office in Chicago.
You're right, I was mistaken. BMO only then :)
From what I have heard, BMO has a large presence in Chicago (this is just what it seems like from networking/OCR)
How is BAML in Chicago?
