Investment Banking, State School, non-target, totally clueless.

Hey all,

I am new to this site and am looking forward to learning more about the IB world. Coming from a state university, how would you recommend getting into investment banking? I am not naive enough to think that there will be BB's at my career fair, but I'd be willing to work in a different setting upon graduation to gear up for an MBA at a top-tier and go from there. Ideally, I'd be an an analyst at a boutique, but even that is a mystery to me as far as how to prepare? Please, point me in the right direction as there are tons of threads here.

Mod Edit : Use search function instead of creating a new thread
