Is 2023 a bad time to try to move to IB from consulting? Any advice on how to proceed?
Some background: I have exactly 12 months of experience at T2 firm (LEK, OW, Roland Berger) in a PE team and I realized I would like the work in IB more than consulting. Before my current job, I completed an internship in M&A Advisory at a boutique firm where I worked mostly with PE clients on buyouts and add-ons.
