Is Goldman's SASS (Strategic Advisory Structuring Solutions) Group like most IBD groups?
It's part of their M&A Shareholder Advisory group. Is it pretty similar to traditional IB in that you do a lot of valuation & modeling, and have a fairly client-facing role as/if you move up? Not something like capital markets groups, which are part of IBD but perform very different tasks from other groups.
Any information is welcome, it seems pretty interesting but I'd like to know the tasks you can expect.
