Is IB all there is?

Forgive me for being young and ignorant, but I current work in sector coverage in a satellite office (ignore title) and really want to move to NY. Is IB really my only realistic option? What else is there? I honestly do not know. I work at a large bank with several business lines but just feel lost as to what my options are. I personally don’t want to do IB and prefer a more capital markets oriented role. Would appreciate any guidance
