Is it off-putting to wear a banker vest or quarter-zip with a logo outside of the office?
Just wondering, would you allow yourself to be seen and for example, have your photo taken with friends while out somewhere at a restaurant while wearing a banker vest or a quarter-zip with the bank logo on it? Or would you feel embarrassed?
I'm curious what the broader public here thinks, as my office it seems like certain people feel as though it's off-putting to even own branded bank-wear, let alone wear it in a public setting outside of the office.
I don’t have time to go out during the weeks and on the weekends it would be very cringe to wear my company merch out to food with friends or bars. So no.

Now, if I know I’m going to a bar to get rowdy and act a fool, I’m not going to wear my company merch as it can be traced back easily if things go south or get out of hand.
Guess what? 99.99999% of people you meet don’t care about you as much as you think they do.
Chances are most people wouldn't notice let alone care since branded vests in general are an established things nowadays. Unless you're going to a left-wing convention or something crazy I can't imagine anyone would think less of you for being a banker, if anything it might be a good conversation starter. If you really care about your appearance though then by all means invest in some quality suits, you'll never get judged negatively for that.
So many people outside of finance don't even know what investment banking is, let alone banks that aren't household names like Goldman, BoA, JPM. So ya, totally fine to wear outside of the office. Personally my company's swag is just really comfy so I wear it for athleisure purposes, but wouldn't choose to wear it if I'm going to a big social event
