Is it to late to start networking?

Is it too late to start networking for SA 2018? I have a very small network and my school doesn't even have big alumni base in IB. I go to non-target. I haven't had chance to reach out to a lot of people as I work two FT jobs. I have reached out to couple of people and have had some informational interviews ( 7-10). I am writing a new batch of a e-mail today or tomorrow. I just wanted to hear from people if is it too late to network now for 2018 SA?

Thanks.

"Mergerz" It is never too late.

It is never too late.

Every second you spend checking responses to your forum post is another second wasted. Go go go. You're never going to look back and say, "Damn, I wish I hadn't networked last summer."

  1. Send those emails
  2. Start prepping your story and technicals
  3. Come back and look at this post in 8 months when you have an offer
  4. Smile

You got this.

Maximum effort.

I do not think so, recruitment is starting but I is my understanding you do not make the ask until August. That gives a whole month until it is officially crunch time.
