Is it Too Late for Corporate Banking out of Undergrad?
I am a junior studying finance and information systems at a non-target. I have a 3.61 GPA and a decent set of extracurriculars. This semester, I am joining a few more finance/professional clubs in order to boost my resume. I have an internship with Big 4 doing risk consulting this summer. I'm grateful for the opportunity but it isn't finance related and I am worried that I won't be able to land a FT Corporate Banking offer at BB in the following summer. I haven't had any financial internships prior so I feel as if I am in a very bad spot for senior recruiting. I can attempt to get a Comm banking internship with Citi but I have to face the reality that I won't receive an interview/offer. Also, I'm pretty sure that if I cancel my summer internship, I could get blacklisted from using my school's job portal but if I get an offer from Citi, I'll take it. I'm planning on taking a modeling course over the summer to boost my skills. Are there any transferable skills coming from B4 ITAA? What else should I do to make myself more desirable?
Thank you
