No you will not be successful applying online at big banks' career pages.
i have heard rare success stories using online career pages. they happen, but not too often. i'd try to network as much as possible, but if the online portal is all you got, why not give it a shot. i think it is worth the time, even though the odds are heavily against you.
At this point in the recruiting season:
Only point in applying is to be in the system so it's easier for people to help you.
Network your ass off or you won't have a chance. That's what I did.
