Is M&A in a big IB possible for me ?

Hi, first of all i'm glad to write these words, i read you all through Instagram since a while but never posted anything.

Im a french student in corporate finance program in a target school (Top 4 in my country), i would like to get some advices from you guys about my career path cuz everyone say anything ans this countrary around me.

I want to work in M&A on a good IB, im 23, i have currently 0 experience in finance except the courses of my school and a BIWS platinium hacked lol. This year i got a year gap (12 months of internship) i managed to get my first internship in Audit (Pwc) for the first 6 months and i would like to do some M&A in small cap in the second part of my internship year.

Do you think its possible to get some M&A with my profile after 6 Month of Audit or its too soon ? S&T is mandatory before M&A or i can jump directly to M&A ? Do i need to look for a coverage internship instead of Audit to maximise my chances to get some M&A ?

Thanks for reading me, Enzo
