Is MS FIG IB Summer Analyst a separate application from the generalist?
Anybody know if the Morgan Stanley Investment Banking FIG group is a separate application from the standard Summer Analyst one for 2024?

No, the culture is not good. A very close friend of mine works in that group and it is extremely terrible. I can go on and write a whole paragraph but got some comments I need to turn but basically, just avoid this group. I don't know much about MS groups but I know that this one ranks high up in terms of groups to avoid.
Roommate is in this group. Says MDs force summer interns to have light workloads to entice them to come back which to me is malicious. Roommate always has complaints on the team. Doesn't seem the best to me personally, but good luck with recruiting for them.
One of the worst group culturally at the Firm. There’s currently an internal investigation into two associates in the group saying incredibly racist shit in their native language in the office..
